The hostile reception came after she shared a photo of herself meeting her constituents captioned “village mambos.”

Many shared their discontent, accusing her of betraying their trust and prioritizing money over the well-being of her constituents.

Adagala joins the growing list of legislators who have been booed or scolded by their subjects for their stand on the Finance Bill 2024.

Followers stormed her comments section to express their anger at her for voting in favour of the controversial Bill.

The Bill was criticized for potentially increasing the cost of living and placing a heavier financial burden on already struggling Kenyans.
