Nairobi Father Desperately Looks for Son Who Disappeared after Attending Protests Week Ago

The anti-government protests have left several families in pain, with their loved ones either dying, injured or going missing.

A heartbroken father has expressed his concern and pain following the anti-Finance Bill 2024 demonstrations.

Joseph Adero Nyangari spoke about his worry after his son attended the protests on Tuesday, June 25.

The stranded father said he had not seen or heard from his boy since attending the Nairobi demos.

“I am looking for my child. He went to the protests a week ago. I am from the City Mortuary, which is full of dead bodies, but I have not seen my son there. Now I am at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) searching for him,” he painfully said.

Nyangari said his son was in the company of other young men from Soweto who marched to the demos.

His friends last saw him at Quick Mart supermarket, and no one knows where he disappeared.

Why was woman crying for her son?

Separately, a woman could not contain her grief as she painfully cried for her son, who was among the victims of the protests.

The sorrowful mother was inconsolable after she learned of the death of her only son.

The woman looked hopeless as she lay outside the morgue, crying out for her only child, who was no more.

She rhetorically asked why her son had attended the violent demonstrations.

Who did woman blame for loss of lives?

A group of young men who heard the woman’s cry felt sorry for her as they attended to her, trying to calm her grief.

The more they consoled her, the more she cried, as seen in the heartbreaking video.

She bitterly blamed President William Ruto for the loss of lives of many young people in her moment of grief.
