Why was John Paul’s mum’s body exhumed?
The man of God had to exhume his mum’s remains in Laikipia county and take them to Machakos for burial after his uncle alleged that they were traumatising him.
At the graveside, the pastor took the cross in his hands, prayed some words, and threw it into the grave alongside the coffin.
The soil then covered the coffin together with the cross, and the burial rites continued with the apostle leaning on others for support as he was overwhelmed.

Apostle speaks of mum’s condition after exhumation
In another story, John Paul Muriithi narrated that after exhuming his mum’s body, he was surprised to see her body was the same way they had buried it.
In a candid interview, the man of God also shared that the coffin of the elderly woman remained intact after two years of being in the soil.
While at it, the man also said that he forgave his uncles who made him exhume his mum’s body after a family feud.
