The body of Lucy Wanja was buried under the spiritual watch of the AIPCA church in Matuu, Machakos county.

While eulogising his mum, John Paul shared: “When my dad died, mum had no choice but to return to her maternal home with her children,” said John Paul.

The indefatigable Lucy Wanja worked hard to provide everything for her children until the day she died. When he was diagnosed with cancer, he told his mum, and she was so shocked with the diagnosis that she died later on.

In an emotional video shared by Kururia TV, the apostle is seen struggling to pour some soil on her casket before the gravediggers could start digging.

He finally managed to do so with the help of his siblings and other relatives.
