William Ruto Slams CSs Displaying ‘Obnoxious Opulence’ Online: “I Will Make Changes”

Mabonga told the president that his Cabinet comprised what he termed as incompetent Cabinet Secretaries (CSs).

He pointed out that most of the CSs had been given dockets that were not commensurate with their careers, warning that the country was doomed.

The university graduate warned Ruto that if nothing changes, the youths will rally together and ensure he doesn’t get re-elected in the 2027 General Election.

“I want to let you know that in your Cabinet we’re having so many incompetent CSs. If you are going to give us those who are incompetent then we are totally doomed.

“Wherever we are we are not happy and of course, if things are going to happen this way the in 2027 we are going to come out in large numbers, we vote and take those people home,” he said with a quiver in his voice.

Why is Mabonga angry?

The emotional man stated that he was infuriated since the head of state had not lived up to his promise of eradicating graft.

He claimed the president was interacting with leaders considered corrupt, including his closest allies.

“When we elected you as the president that you can help us catch those people who are corrupt in this nation you are just there laughing with them,” he added.

Mabonga shared some of his tribulations, revealing he was unable to pay his rent because he was jobless despite being a graduate.

You promised to give us the jobs but when we elected you you are telling us that in the next one year we are not going to employ the youth. I am very angry because every time we get to those public offices, we are treated like trash, and that’s why I was on the forefront of those protests to demand for my right. Here you are just taking us through the corners, not going straight to the point. Why are we playing games with public money,” he cried out.
