In an interview with journalist John Allan Namu, she disclosed that she was in the CBD as a peaceful protestor.
However, she picked up a baton to protect people and businesses from goons allegedly sent to turn the protest chaotic.
“Things have changed because goons have been sent, and they are stealing from people,” she lamented.
She, therefore, chose to join the group dealing with the vandals and then continue with the protest.
Mrs. Nancy Macharia:
“Good work. Why take advantage of these peaceful protests to steal and destroy other people’s properties, surely?”
Julie Kelly:
“This is the kind of courage we women should have.”
Timothy Mutunga:
“Good work. We should work together to ensure no goons destroy or steal as demos are on.”
