First Daughter Charlene Ruto has met with 47 student leaders representing the 47 counties of Kenya.
Taking to social media, she revealed that she had worked with some of the representatives for about two years.
“Today I was welcomed by 47 presidents of 47 county student associations, some of whom I have been working with for almost two years kwa ground, to participate in their agreement as young leaders,” she wrote.

“I founded my statement on the words of our national anthem ‘May we dwell in unity, peace and liberty. As I continue to use my platforms to support all young people, I would like us to engage constructively. Let’s criticise when necessary but also propose solutions. Let’s be the generation known not just for its passion but also for its innovation in governance and civic participation. I am here to listen, learn and work alongside you. I am here for you,” she added.
